You're on the list. Let's keep moving.

Thanks for joining the Sharp Training Systems waiting list.

I'm looking forward to the opportunity to work with you and help you take your performance to the next level.

While you're waiting for a coaching place, there are a few things we can do to get you started.

1. Book your first check-in

I'd like to arrange a short call within the next week to learn more about your training, your sport and what you're working towards.

It's also an opportunity to ask any questions you have about coaching and discuss what you can focus on while you wait.

We'll aim to catch up monthly while you're on the waiting list, so you're not left wondering what's happening.

PLAN. PREPARE. PRACTICE.

Three things to do before we start.

1. Plan

Plan your training week.

Take a few minutes and look at your typical week.

Think about your sport, team training, matches or competitions, work/study commitments and everything else you've got going on.

Then identify where your S&C training can realistically fit.

We can refine it together, but coming into session one with an idea of what your training week could look like gives us a great place to start.

2. Prepare

Complete this full-body mobility routine.

Give this mobility routine a go before we meet.

Don't worry about being perfect at everything. The aim is simply to get moving and start becoming familiar with some of the positions we'll use in your training.

3. Practice

Have a go at the skater squat.

The skater squat is a key movement we’ll use in training.

I've put together a short walkthrough showing you what we're looking for. See which of the seven levels you can get to.

Watch it, give it a go and don't worry if it's not perfect yet - we'll work on it together.

You’re in good company.

Athletes come to us with different sports, goals and starting points.

Here's what some of them have experienced from their training.

  • "My top speed has massively increased, I feel a lot stronger, I move much better and generally feel a lot sharper on the pitch. It has massively helped in stepping up to full time pro football."

    Zac Tyson - Football

  • "I've seen huge improvements in my performance, with my vertical jump increasing and overall feeling a lot stronger. I've also managed to achieve two new personal bests since starting the training."

Will Lane - GB Pole Vaulter

  • "As a professional goalkeeper, I wanted to do extra work to improve my physical performance, and the knowledge and guidance have been key in making that happen. I couldn't recommend it highly enough."

    Conor O’Keefe - Football

What happens next?

When a suitable coaching place becomes available, I'll be in touch to discuss getting started.

In the meantime, book your first check-in, have a go at the activities above and feel free to get in touch if you've got any questions.

Looking forward to speaking soon.
